Minor Tweak to the Site
I tweaked the site in a minor way. The sidebar that used to be on the left is now on the right. As my wife said, "It's about time you moved to the Right." I think she's on drugs. (Darn tootin' I am! Woo! Pink elephants! Millennium hand and shrimp! --TPK)
So why the change? Well, people using Internet Explorer won't notice any difference since IE waits for an entire table to be transmitted before displaying it. But with Firefox, you can see tables load as the data comes in. It means that the page may jump around, but you can read it while the page is still loading. If you are on a slow connection, or if some item is taking a while to pull down, this new tweak can give the perception of speed. Those people who can see the site as it is downloading can read my stuff while the sidebar loads. This is important if the Technorati link or 101st Fighting Keyboardists data from Blogrolling is slow.
Besides, it's fun to change things occasionally.
